What is Plytix?
Plytix is the world's leading Product Information Management (PIM) platform for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (SMBs). Plytix PIM helps companies store and organize product information ranging from descriptions and images to prices, and other specifications, in one place. Essentially, it's a handy tool that makes managing and updating product data a whole lot easier.
About our culture
This is where you’d typically see a long paragraph of boring text that no one reads, peppered with corporate buzzwords that don’t mean anything. But Plytix is no typical company so we’ll spare you that. Instead, watch this video, and if you like what you see, keep scrolling.
What’s the opportunity?
This is your chance to come and work for a high-growth B2B SaaS company based in the US, Denmark, and Spain. Plytix is backed by Tier 1 investors, such as Tiger, and is already a global industry leader within PIM—one of the fastest-growing verticals in the retail industry.
In this role, you’re given the opportunity to fully explore your creative side and work deeply with both content and UX. At Plytix you get to try out all those ideas you’ve always had and see if they work.
And last, but not least, this is your opportunity to be the main architect for how we communicate on our website and how to design the website UX.
What will you be doing?
In this position, you’ll be the voice of Plytix, setting the tone of how we communicate to the world through our website. You’ll be writing almost poetic website content that makes it easy for the reader to understand why Plytix is awesome, while also capturing the collective personality of our amazing culture. The last part is very important! You’ll also be the architect of our website UX, responsible for improving our conversion rates.
Here are some examples of what you’ll be doing:
After 1 month:
You’ll start with a crash course in all things related to Plytix by learning how our software works and earning your Product Information Management Certificate. By the end of your first month you’ll understand our user journey and what companies come to us for. You will have done your tour of duty in Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Marketing and you’re ready to get your hands dirty.
After 3 months:
You’re now fully integrated into the Marketing team, and beautiful synergies are sprouting everywhere you look. You have already identified some easy-wins and made some content and UX adjustments that have led to improvements on our conversion rates. You have already launched your first experiments and are starting to see some promising tendencies there too.
At this point, you’re also starting to notice that a content/UX strategy is taking shape in your head and you’re moments away from the point where you feel confident presenting it to the CEO.
6 months in:
Now you’re an expert in all things Plytix, and you’re starting to act more freely. You have already implemented the new guidelines you created for how we communicate on our website as well as established the UX guidelines that we’ll all follow.
You’re now working to make sure that all of our existing content and webpages are updated to follow your new guidelines, while also creating new content. At this point, you’re also spending more time with clients, and working closely with our product and sales team to identify the hidden opportunities that our clients and prospects don’t know how to articulate.
Basically, at this point, you’re an invaluable member of the Plytix family and none of us can even remember how we used to manage before you arrived.
Who will you be working with?
You’ll be working closely with everyone in Marketing, but especially the people responsible for our website. Apart from the Marketing team, you’ll also be working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and our Product team. Since this role requires you to help develop a new tone of voice for the company, you’ll also be working closely with the CEO.
We expect you to:
